Just a few pictures from our Christmas Day! Christmas Eve we went to Emery's - I think it was the 25 years ago that I went to the first party at their house. this year, Mary got to make her debut, she looked darling and loved the potato chips and had M&Ms for the first time. Christmas morning was really nice because Mary will still sleep in, so Brian and I drank coffee by the tree until 8:30am. Santa brought Mary a play kitchen that she LOVES, she is my little chef. It also came with pots, pans, utensils and plush fruits and veggies, she can't reach the top shelf, so I know she will grow into it and it will be around for a long time.
For dinner we went to my parents house for one of the best meals I've ever had. Beef loin with mushrooms, potatoes with butter and rosemary, spinach pie and Figgy pudding for dessert...AH! heaven! I didn't have my camera with me, but it was a work of art. Thanks, Mom!!!
We have had such a wonderful year with more than our share of blessings. I look at my family and our home, and think how lucky we are.
It truly is a Wonderful Life.
