These two are such great buddies...I'm a little jealous. They have inside jokes that I don't get. I'll come home and they will start whispering to each other or saying a chant or song from a class I couldn't go to that week because I was at work. But...it DOES make me happy to see them so happy.

This week, I was driving to work and I drove by a daycare center. It was 6:30am, kinda chilly and still dark. The lights inside were bright and I could see there were already about 8 kids sitting at tables. Another daddy had just pulled up and was getting a little one out of the back. I know those are happy kids in there, they are well cared for. But I know it may be a little tough for their parents to drop them off that early - we're all doing the best we can.
Looking at that scene, I happy to know that my little girl was still asleep and cozy in her bed. She can get up when she wants to, have pumpkin waffles with her Daddy. Watch some Sesame Street. Go to swim class, go run errands all day with her buddy. That warms my heart.
